What is Gyrotonic?

Juliu Horvath created the Gyrotonic Expansion System in the 1970s after an injury brought his dance career to an end. He quickly came to see the benefits of his method for the general public as well as dancers. Gyrotonic exercise combines the movements of yoga, swimming, ballet and gymnastics in a workout designed to increase strength, flexibility and range of motion.

Our gyrotonic lessons are offered privately or in group settings on the Gyrotonic Pulley Tower. When in private session or group settings your workout can be specifically tailored to your needs and goals. We are extremely fortunate to have a gyrotonic master trainer on staff to provide continuing education and skill development for our teachers. Adults of all ages and fitness levels can learn and benefit from Gyrotonic exercise.
